Transportation: Funding Request for the Update of the ITS Plan
A request for funding to complete the Update of the Intelligent Transportation System Plan is open for public comment.

The Central Lane Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) is considering the funding request for the Update of the Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) Plan. The application of ITS throughout the region can enhance safety for all modes, provide services and information to travelers, and implement traffic management strategies that maintain a seamless, reliable and efficient system. Examples include ramp metering, real-time traveler information signs, and adaptive signal coordination.

Comments received by 5 PM on Sunday June 28th, 2015, will be sent to decision makers to consider as part of the adoption process.

The Metropolitan Policy Committee is the policy board who are the decision makers for the Metropolitan Planning Organization.
